Overview
Notetracks Pro is an audio collaboration platform where you can get real-time feedback pinpointed directly on the audio or video track itself.
Whether you’re a podcaster, musician, or video producer, your team can now create in the key of awesome.
Notetracks Pro provides a private, collaborative space where you can share, review, take notes, and provide feedback on audio and video projects.
To get started, simply drag-and-drop your audio or video files (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV) from your desktop into the browser or upload via Dropbox or Google Drive.
Once you import the track, you’ll be able to see the audio waveform visually and jump to specific segments quickly with a simple keyboard shortcut.
Downloading a track on the app.
Import audio and video files easily from your desktop, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
And then it’s time to take notes on the tracks!
While the track plays, insert time-stamped comments directly on the track without interrupting the playback. (Too much bass here, John—save it for your SoundCloud.)
Once you import the track, you’ll be able to see the audio waveform or video frame visually and jump to specific segments quickly with a simple keyboard shortcut.
All notes, comments, and conversations will be placed along the horizontal audio waveform, in sync with the playback to keep notes clear, precise, organized… and fun to look at. (🎶Let’s get visual, visual… 🎶)
But if you ever miss the feeling of time-coded notes in a document, Notetracks Pro lets you download a PDF or text file with a report that includes all the comments.
Collaborators leaving comments on the track.
Pin time-stamped notes or comments to the audio waveform while collaborating in real time.
Notetracks Pro makes it easy to collaborate and get feedback or approval before releasing your tracks into the world.
Share your project by entering the email addresses of your collaborators and setting view or edit permissions.
Your collaborators can then log in, make their own notes, and reply to your comments while uploading their own files for reference.
Comments and notes will appear in real time (like Google Docs, but for music).
Inviting collaborators to your project.
Keep everyone on the same page at the same time, no matter where they are in the world.
Share the project with multiple collaborators, providing them with view or edit permissions.
Just like onions and ogres, your tracks can have multiple layers or versions—Notetracks Pro makes these complex tracks and different versions a breeze to work with.
Add multiple audio tracks, switching between them or playing them at the same time.
Plus, you can include additional audio tracks to compare revisions or test out how they sound when played together.
View of multiple tracks under one project.
Add multiple audio tracks and switch between them or play them together at the same time.
Working with video? There’s a feature for that, too!
You can sync audio tracks to video on Notetracks Pro, eliminating the need to open a separate video player.
Just drop the video into the project, and add audio to see how they work together.
You can also comment and collaborate on video files as well, taking notes on the video itself across the audio timeline.
Add a video to review and sync the perfect audio track.
Creating exceptional audio as a team shouldn’t involve complicated email chains, missing file attachments, and cryptic out-of-sync messages.
Reduce the noise from your audio projects.
Notetracks Pro helps audio creators, producers, and collaborators communicate clearly and work with precision.

I’m Kam, the founder of the company. The product was inspired from a need I had as a music producer to ‘take notes on audio tracks’ while reverse engineering popular tracks to improve my music production skills. With a background in tech and an amazing team, we were able to build this ‘dream piece of gear’. It quickly turned into a collaborative tool for creatives to make notes in the feedback process for those working on music, podcasts, tv/film preparing their tracks for release into the world.

We started off as an iOS App but our main point of feedback was to bring this to the web, for professional content creators and collaborators working on laptops / desktops while also providing some next-level features (cloud storage, video playback, real-time collaboration) and many more exciting updates to come. Going from a ‘Microsoft Word’ to a ‘Google Docs’ for audio we like to say (or InVision / Figma for audio for those familiar with design). We built it, refined it and revamped our brand with a new sleek fun look & feel. Here we are with Notetracks Pro!

We continue to constantly make new updates and since our initial launch are excited to announce new features. Audio Recording, Audio Voice Comments, Public Link Sharing, No-Signup Commenting, Range Commenting, Faster Load times for Audio / Video, Enhanced Track Navigation, Adobe Audition and Audacity integrations, Vertical Scroll Notes are just a few of the new features we’ve launched.

The shift into the remote world has accelerated our product roadmap in hopes this platform can immediately help content creators and collaborators of all kinds complete their audio / music / video projects remotely. Whether it’s reviewing, gathering feedback or taking notes on a podcast, music track, video, performance, voice over, voice memo idea or anything else we hope you enjoy using Notetracks Pro as much as we do.

The future of audio / video review & collaboration is here : 🔊

Very nice tool for studio professionals
I bought two codes and tried it out. I loved the UI on the uploader, creator side. Uploading files, making comments tied to specific tracks, it all was working well for me on the front end. However, I ran into a hiccup when I shared them with clients and took issue with how it was shared. But then Kam reached out to me and offered me a 30-45 minute one-on-one consultation and I was really impressed.
Come to find out, there are two ways to share and they do not yield the same results. If you click on share project and put in their email the link will take the receiver to a page that doesn't mention the project I'm sharing but asks them to register for a 7-day trial instead. That freaked out my clients and I probably won't ever share this way. Kam explained that the benefit of them having an account is that their comments will always be tied to their name and they can get email notifications when the project gets updated... OK so maybe I'll use that in certain situations when I have a good relationship with a client and we are collaborating on something long-term or anticipate a lot of back-and-forth.
The second way is to give them the share link and alter the permissions to whatever you want (Comment only, view only, edit, etc.) and just emailing them the project link yourself. If you do it that way the link takes the receiver directly to the project and allows them to bypass the registration page. This is ideal for clients that just want to hear and download a track and maybe leave a comment or two but there isn't much back-and-forth anticipated.
Kam seemed very interested to hear how I plan to use Notetracks in my ProTools-centric workflow and showed me a little bit about how they are researching how they can better integrate ProTools markers and ptx sessions. That got me really excited.
I am really impressed with what this small company has been able to do already and the speed of the tool and ease of use. The sharing project issue was clarified to me and I am quite satisfied that there is a way to share this and impress my clients rather than turn them off. I have since purchased more codes as I am pretty sure this can work as one of my go-to ways of sharing mixes with clients and not just using services like WeTransfer.
All in all - despite my initial sharing issue - the fast response to my questions and seeing them actively working to improve the product, and the fact that I truly have no reservations about using this product right now - after trying it out for a week I am convinced it is ready to integrate as a tool in my deliverable process with actual clients right now... I think they deserve 5-stars from me. I do love the product and am having a great experience so far. Good luck, Kam - keep developing the product and best of luck!

Not only it is an awesome product: Kam is a great human being
I had been looking at this product for quite some time. It was a moment in my life when music had been set on the side. But then all of a sudden the spark hit again. And I was half a world away from where I used to be. My music buddies are on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean but I sent them a few audio clips and they liked what I was doing. But it wasn't enough, we needed something more, something that could allow us to express our opinions also keeping the different timezones in mind.
And that's when Notetracks came into view. I got it, uploaded a track, shared it with them and bingo, everyone commented, suggested, sent their observations. The original track ended up being enriched so much that when I uploaded a revised version it was so much better than how it initially was. It is as if distance no longer existed, that we are in the same room again.
The tool is very well designed and very lite. It is best to use it with Chrome, as Safari for the Mac user may not be the best choice.
But the best aspect is the interaction with its creator. I typed something on the help chat and Kam answered it, offering a 30 minute Zoom meeting to help.He was so attentive, competent and read my intentions so well that I learned everything I needed in exactly 15 minutes. A great tutoring tailored on my needs. Not all creators are willing to interact with their users. Kam was not only willing, he really enjoys talking, listening and answering.
If you're into music, video or podcasting, don't let this great product run away. You will regret it!
Bravo Kam! Keep going!

Family archival project
I bought the product to use on podcast audio, and it is an effective tool for that. Straightforward to use and to get started.
Also, I am using it for a family project. I have recorded audio from elderly relatives where they are describing their childhood memories and experiences through to starting their families. I started this as an audio project to capture the "voices of our extended family".
Using Notetracks I am now going through the audio and putting a comment on the audio track that highlights a specific family photo that I will look for, and then combine into an overall video output. The great advantage of the comments field is that I can look for similar comments across several relatives and combine them into a single track component.

For anybody working with audio or video!
Several months ago, I started my podcast. There is too much bad content out there, and I don't want to step into the trap of thinking that my content is good enough without revisions. So I did what I do with every blog post, YouTube video, Facebook, or Instagram post, I sent it to a ton of people to check it out and give me feedback. Compared to the feedback I usually receive for my visual or written content, it was a mess. The feedback was not connected to specific audio timestamps, and I had to jump back and forth to find out what they actually meant. So, there was certainly some pain.
This is why I tried Notetracks. At first glance, I didn't plan to keep it but after working with it I don't want to let it go at all. I got such amazing, valuable and precise feedback for my second podcast episode - really awesome! I love the small feature making it possible to import tags into Adobe Audition (and Audacity btw). It is all about the details when it comes to software (and there are plenty of details making it easy to give feedback in any possible way! Voice messages - how cool is that?!?). In addition, people (giving feedback) told me, that it was actually fun to work with it - and this is my experience, too.
I work with videos, too - and the short videos I uploaded were uploaded pretty fast (impressive), and feedback worked flawlessly. I definitely recommend stacking up some codes, especially if you work with videos. However, you can just delete your old videos/audios, so that you can free up space.
Furthermore, I had a fantastic Zoom call with Kam. They are committed. I am convinced that this is the beginning of a big success story.
So, this is a MUST buy for:
- musicians (!!!)
- podcast creators
- YouTubers
- course creators (working with video)
- anybody else creating audio or video content
